Introduction

In the past, I've had quite an interest in deep thinking and trying to figure out the world around us. I'm not so big on it these days, it all seems far too complicated and I just want to get on with life. But these pages have generally had a hundred or so reads a month, and they generate a few interesting emails, so I will retain them for the time being.

I previously invited comments, although in honesty I've not really got the interest to engage in a debate. Most people have deep set feelings on these issues and consider anyone who thinks differently to be wrong. With no common ground to start from, there's not much room for constructive discussion.

But, I guess my email address is on the site, so I'm bound to still get a few emails.
